Applying these and other basic principles to your existing talent will not only prepare and strengthen your skills for working as an on-set makeup artist/hair stylist, they will accelerate your career and increase your network within these industries.

Barbering for T.V. and Film This program is designed to teach the principles of barbering and grooming hair for film and television. It will define the responsibilities of a barber, expectations and job descriptions, instructor/student demonstrations, and how to develop an image for a character. You will learn the main components for barbering (tapers, fades, and clipper over comb techniques), personal development (social skills and communication), and how to market yourself via social media outlets.

Incubator Program

The Incubator Program teaches individuals how to develop their own business. The objective is to create a road map  to success for those who want to expand their opportunities in the areas of makeup, Special FX makeup, or hair styling. Entrepreneurship (You are the Boss!) will tie the curriculums in both programs in an effort to prepare you for the next step in your career. Finding your niche is one of the most important challenges when deciding to work in the film and entertainment industry. Effective communication, branding, resume building, and marketing tools will be discussed in this class.
